Product
Make sure that all pertinent variations of a product type are registered, such as including promotional sizes, boxes, different flavors, and individual products.
It is important to ensure that inactive products and catalogs are removed, that is, products that are no longer manufactured by the industry. In this way, we will obtain a greater assertiveness in the recognition of active products manufactured by the industry.
Catalogs
When creating the catalog, a minimum of one initial image should be added for each side of the product displayed, so that it has an orthogonal view and no perspective.
Each image within the catalog should show only the product, without borders, and have adequate lighting. We recommend ten starter images varying the angles to be displayed.
It is important to point out that images will be approved to go into their respective catalogs, so we recommend having more than one hundred images per catalog.
Good results are achieved with varied images in their catalog, such as having images in different lighting conditions, types of shelves, and viewing angles.
Good results are achieved when there is no great imbalance between the variety of images in the catalog, such as not containing only one image on side A and twenty images on side B.
A catalog should only contain images pertinent to the product and ensure that different products, flavors and sizes are not mixed together
Catalogs of one product, should only be used for different packages of thesame product, for example, same name, flavor, quantity, size and weight. It is important to ensure that duplicate catalogs with the same name and/or thumbnail are not created. Currently, you can avoid this duplicity by checking for products with similar names.
Planograms
It is essential to ensure that after creating new products and catalogs we should update or create the planograms as needed by the industry. If these new products are not inserted into the planogram, they will not be part of the recognition analysis performed by the system.
